Genesis Framework 1.5 Released by StudioPress

StudioPress has released a new version of their popular Genesis Framework for WordPress. Version 1.5 adds some new features and fixes a few bugs. This is not a major release but it does evidence the continuous effort that StudioPress puts into their theme framework that so many premium child themes (from StudioPress as well as third party developers) are built upon.

  • Rewritten Style Sheet
  • Genesis Grid Loop
  • New Breadcrumb Class
  • Post Format Support (a new feature of the soon to be released WordPress 3.1)
  • Bug Fixes

The improvements in this new version are mostly of interest to WordPress theme developers although everybody using Genesis is encouraged to update to this latest version. You can do that with one click of a button thanks to the handy automatic update feature that StudioPress built into their framework.
