WooCommerce has been a much-hyped e-commerce platform planned by WooThemes for more than a year. Recently they made an announcement saying that they have forked the GPL-licensed Jigohop e-commerce plugin and hired its two main developers, James Koster and Mike Jolly. The result will be a WordPress plugin called WooCommerce that WooThemes will create themes for. Their first theme will be WooStore and you can see a preview screenshot of it below. All of this will be available mid-September.
