Introducing Diva Themes: WordPress Themes for “The Girls”

Diva Themes is a brand-new WordPress theme shop for “the girls.” It is run by¬†experienced WordPress developer¬†Randa Clay. Her goal is to provide commercial-quality WordPress themes tailored specifically for women, because…

“There are just not enough pretty, feminine premium themes out there. Most of them look like they were designed by guys because… well… they were! Women business owners and bloggers make up a HUGE portion of the sites on the internet and you will be underserved no more!”

Sound good? I think so. I’ve noticed that there are just about as many women as there are men in this world and that they blog too. Yet, until very recently, there were hardly any premium themes designed with feminine flair. It’s nice to see Diva Themes start filling that void with others such as Allure Themes and StudioPress (see their themes for women).

The First Four Themes

These are Diva Themes’ first four commercial WordPress themes for women.

Snappy WordPress Theme

Snappy is a blog theme with a unique layout. It takes advantage of jQuery Masonry to arrange posts in an intelligent grid on the homepage. Not only that, but the posts themselves look like polaroids with captions. This makes Snappy great for bloggers who love to share photos. As with other Diva Themes, Snappy is advertising friendly.

Happy WordPress Theme

Happy from Diva Themes

Happy is a blog theme for WordPress made for women. This was originally the designer’s own homepage design. It’s called happy because the colors made her feel happy whenever she saw them. It has five widget areas, layout shortcodes and an options panel to help you customize it.
